Negotiation: a way out of the labyrinth of international legal disputes

World Wide Negotiation (WWN) is a private association, with a interdisciplinary and multicultural approach.

WWN is based in Paris, France, but our points of contact are in all countries where our members offices are.

WWN by-law

Our approach is...

TO SUPPORT
our clients in international commercial disputes. We support our clients’ interests and goals through negotiation on their behalf with their business partners aboard.

TO LINK
the parties through a negotiation framework. 'The breakdown of communication - very common in international disputes - makes it more difficult for the parties to come to terms and reduces the range of potential solutions. Engaging negotiators from each of the countries of the parties involved creates an important structural basis for facilitation of mutual agreement.

TO SAVE
valuable resources which our clients may need elsewhere: time, money, and business relationships. We are committed to cost efficiency, quick intervention, and, if desired by the client, preservation and restoration of our client’s business relationship with the other party.

TO LEARN
more about how to support our clients’ goals and interests. We continuously update our knowledge and methods, We share and discuss our individual experiences and integrate them within the entire Network. We employ the most advanced negotiation experts around the globe to keep us updated.

TO INSIST
on the importance of seeking understanding and agreement before resorting to litigation. This world - including the business world - can bear more fruit for everyone if we develop our abilities to come to terms through communication and negotiation, rather than through unnecessary confrontation which wastes energy and resources. Particularly in the international domain, litigation may have the unfortunate side effect of creating obstacles to future business activity. We insist on promoting agreement over confrontation, especially where understanding may be more difficult because of geographic and language barriers and differences in legal systems.
